Harpswell Inn Winter 2009 Newsletter
Turkey Day and all the relatives “Over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house we go!” are over and the Inn is all decked out for Christmas and New Years. We all had a great time playing with Noah our newest Grandson (6 months old) and the announcement of another baby on the way next spring (details later). The puzzle table is getting lots if use some easy and some well??
We have lots of wreaths, decorated trees, and the line up of local Holiday Parties on deck. Many off season discounts for you to take advantage of: Now thru 12/31/09 10% off daily rates and 3rd night 1/2 price. 1/1/10 – 4/31/10 any room in the Inn for $125.00 or less and any Suite for $185.00 per night with breakfast included. Looking for a “Special Getaway” this is your chance.
Join us for a quiet Winter Getaway, Snow on the lawn, read a good book, warm up by the fireplace, Hot Chocolate, Hot Cider, or your favorite Tea and one or two of Anne’s famous Cookies. What a great way to spend a Winter Wonderland Weekend in Maine. Freeport, Bath and Downtown Brunswick are all decorated for Holiday Shopping and Specials and soon after Christmas specials.
A great stopping point on the way to the mountains, local cross country skiing or snow shoeing, Ice-skating on the Mall in Brunswick. If eating is on the list the Portland Area has been recognized as a cousin destination in Harpswell Cooks’ is open all year plus many wonderful options in the Brunswick Bath area.
Holiday Stocking Stuffers are still available and our Middlebay Room is open for your next group gathering or special function. We are also taking reservations for 2010 Cottage Weekly Rentals and some spaces are still open for that special ocean side Destination Wedding.
We still have one Suite and The Landingview Cottage open for long term rental from now through mid-May. Great spots for peace and quiet, R&R, write that book or to just enjoy Harpswell in the winter.

Mark your calendars and watch our web site The Annual March Knit Inn is on again for mid March 18th-20th. It always snows and the fireplace will be fired up with great meals from the Inn kitchen.
