The Harpswell Inn is a historical landmark Bed & Breakfast located on one of Maine’s famous “finger” peninsulas. Situated upon Lookout Point, the Inn provides a stunning view of Maine’s natural beauty, including the magnificent sunsets over Middle Bay and the quiet cove below, which serves as a harbor for lobster boats.

Guests of the Inn awake to the smell of salt air mingled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a hearty breakfast.

Read a book or your favorite newspaper or magazine by the fireplace in the Great Room. There’s also always a puzzle or two going on plus lots of board games. The most relaxing thing to do is to watch the sunset from the windows by the piano.

Yes, we have WIFI. Surf the web on your lap top while relaxing in one of the many comfy chairs in The Great Room.

If you are planning a visit to Maine this Winter make our home your home. Spend a quiet night curled up with a good book in the Great Room or complete one of our many jigsaw puzzles while listening to relaxing music.

Nature: The Harpswell is a wonderful place to do Nature Based activities such as, Bird Watching, Hiking, Kayaking, and Biking.

Culinary: Maine is known for its delicious Down East cooking but also has a wide range of ethnic cuisine in near by Brunswick. Harpswell is proud to offer the best seafood on the east coast. Fresh lobsters and clams are available year-round from Allen’s Seafood.

Art: Many towns in Maine have community art galleries, craft fairs, antique flea markets and historic museums. The Pickard Theater at Bowdoin college offers live theater and musical performances through out the year.

Shopping: Enjoy nearby shopping in historic Bath, Freeport, and Brunswick.
